Actavis UK has rebranded to become Accord Healthcare. This follows its acquisition by Intas Pharmaceuticals, through its wholly owned subsidiary Accord Healthcare in January 2017.
The combination of the two organisations facilitates the aim for Accord to become the largest generic Pharmaceutical business in the UK and a leading player in the industry at European level.
As part of the rebranding process the Actavis Scheme is being re-launched as the Accord Scheme, which will provide pharmacists with transparent, simple competitive net pricing and ease of use. Pharmacists participating in the Accord Scheme also enjoy the benefit of support from a dedicated account management team who can tailor the Scheme to pharmacists’ preferred way of purchasing.
In addition to the Accord Scheme, the Accord Academy provides pharmacists and their teams with complimentary online accredited training courses all contributing towards Continuous Professional Development.
