Today, Wednesday 10 January, Alliance Healthcare UK, one of the leading distributors of pharmaceutical, medical and health and beauty launches new standard rate Customer Service numbers. In addition, there are now fewer customer telephone numbers in order to make contact simpler and more straight forward.
This change is part of the company’s ongoing investment in improving its service offering.
The decision follows the successful centralisation of the Alliance Healthcare Customer Service teams to a single national Customer Service Centre, based in South Normanton, Derbyshire, from its local Customer Service Centre locations.
By centralising the Customer Service teams, and standardising working practices and processes, the new Customer Service Centre is able to improve call waiting times and provide a higher quality, more consistent and more reliable service to all customers.
Recognising that local knowledge is helpful to ensure customers receive the best service, a mobile Area Customer Care Manager has also been appointed at each Service Centre, to proactively meet with customers and resolve issues more effectively and efficiently, therefore providing a better level of personalised service.

Moving to standard rate numbers is just the start of the positive changes Alliance Healthcare will implement through 2018 for its customers. Retail customers should now call the Retail number on 0330 100 0448 and Specials Customer Service Centre number on 0344 854 4998
